Nature my favorite subject
A pair of rather bold Canadien Geese in the marshland near Glen Lake. I love how they were just standing there one legged and they didn't seem to mind me taking some picts. So beautiful!

April Tim Holtz Tag
I just love following Tim Holtz's blog so much creative energy. So this month I tried my hand at interpreting his April tag from the 12 tags series. I tried to follow the same techniques but giving it my own creative touch. Hope you enjoy this tag...

Silhouette Cameo Oh My!
So I ordered the new Silhouette Cameo 12 x 12 digital cutter. After my much awaited excitement this machine is everything the old one had and so many improvements. It cuts much faster, a little quieter, and finally 12 x 12! I just love it and have I ever played:
I even tried the pens and print and cut and everything works perfectly!

My favorite CTMH product is...
their clear stamps every last one. They make stamping so much fun and because they are clear and very well made you can never miss your spot stamping with their exclusive inks on their wonderful paper sets.

Embelish It Contest
I am going to try and enter a contest using my blog to post the picture of the entry. New experiment and I really need to get this figured out. So here we go! Yeah! It worked! Now for the details the challenge was to use Basic grey paper in a way that it would not be intended to be used. I chose Cappella paper pack which would be a nice choice for photos that are on a wedding theme or maybe nostogic. I chose to use this line for a Disney page because the colors of the autographed sidewalk blend nicely with this paper line. I don't always go with themed paper to make a page I really like to match photo color to the paper for a better effect. I hope you like this page. I also used little star bling on the band in the center my photo doesn't do that justice.

June month of anticipation
June 2, 2010, this is a month of anticipation. Anticipation of being done with work for the summer months, looking ahead to lazy summer days of floating in the pool, exercise and most importantly my paper crafting. A couple of projects loom in the near future. Papercrafting for me is about purpose. Right now I need to focus on a creating a mini book gift for a co-worker, a wedding gift for my son to give to his best friends and a two page layout for my LSS alias my sister. I usually have to think a bit about my projects before they come to completion or even beginning. Once I have successfully thought long enough an idea comes to me and the project is completed. However right now I have the ideas and need to sit in my space and start the creating process soon. This weekend looks hopeful as the weather will probably not be beckoning me outside, because when the weather is nice it is really hard to be inside looking out. Our summers are short and I enjoy every precious moment spent outdoors with my camera and basking in the beautiful sunshine watching the gardens grow...
